IV YEAR COMPENDIUM

Welcome ! Here is a presentation of all my work over the four years of my design journey. My awareness & skillsets span through Print Media, Identity Design & Alternative Media practices. However, I've always been fascinated by the moving letters and words around us.

The webspace you are in currently was developed purely with VS Code and a few other javascript libraries. I love to code, experiment with type through code and exploit the possibilites of generative design. Also, this repository will be continously updating with new projects and media archives.

As someone who is into persuing very specific interests, I look forward to learning, inspiring and getting inspired with people of similar interests. Because of my previous introduction in engineering, I sometimes correlate this with my creative work. And this was mainly why I started exploring creative thinking processes morphed into an instruction system.

Parallely, from the beginning of my design journey, I found my natural inclination in layouting & typography. This was when I started experimenting with my creative thinking abilities by morphing it through a procedural and generative driven system. However, I still love working traditionally with scattered test-prints, overflowing color tubes and calligraphy pens.

INTERNSHIP PROJECT

During the end of my 3rd academic year, I completed my internship at Wishbox Studio, Delhi. I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various disciplines of design.

BIBLIOTHECA

A book I believe is an invaluable arsenal and to me, books have been an inexhaustible source of energy. When I look at my book collection, every book is indifferent in it's experience yet, each is a crumble of a bigger mass of knowledge.

I have chanced upon a bunch of books from the beginning of my design journey and I restrain myself from framing these into words that are in modern parlance. However, for the importance of relevance, these books are mostly on specifics in design, design thinking, memoir, warcrime etc.

PHOTOGRAHY

Here is a collection of photographs that encompass shots from exhibitions, nature, products, portraits, macro, and cityscapes. This particular archive is being built as it's taking quite some time for me to select the best of what I want to display. It will be open for viewing soon.

Will be available for viewing soon.

PORTRAITS

My journey into portrait photography commenced during my photography course when I explored the outskirts of Coimbatore. Nevertheless, I have captured portraits on various occasions, and additional categories will be included on a separate subpage

EXHIBITIONS

At some of my senior's exhibitions, I was asked to document their showcases. This provided me with exposure to diverse environments featuring dynamic and varied lighting conditions. These experiences also helped me develop my skills in composition and more.

NATURE - BIRDS

I've long been captivated by the immense dedication and skill required in photographing birds. I have a special affinity for capturing birds in motion, tracing their flight paths, and the intricacies of freezing a single frame within that motion. In my view, wildlife photography possesses an unparalleled quality of candid authenticity

COMPUTER ART

Drawing upon my firm foundation in crafting computer- based instructions, I embarked on a journey of exploration, guided by the latest optimizations and utilities. This purposeful step allowed me to seamlessly merge my imaginative thinking with the world of algorithmic procedures. Moreover, I immersed myself in the realm of p5.js, a visionary platform made transformative by the pioneering work of Casey Reas and Ben Fry, providing a coding haven tailor-made for creative minds.
